The light output is pure white and covers about 10 feet of area. At 90mA, the current draw is well below 1 amp at 12 volts, yet still produces 86 lumen. The LEDs are fully potted and encased in a machined, brushed aluminum housing for weatherproof use. This light is ideal as an accent light, courtesy light or small area light. For those of you using solar generated power, these lights are ideal for docks and other remote areas where your 12 volt, solar generated power can be used sparingly to light small areas. These particular lights are available in either a white finish housing or a machine brushed aluminum housing. These particular units, unlike similiar surface mount LEDs, can be wired to a rocker switches and dimmable knobs. This makes them an ideal fixture to use for various applications from mounting in bathrooms, walk-in closets, to illuminating fly bridges, and hard tops alike.
